Mill Hill
Mill Hill setting is situated on the site of Mill Hill Primary School in the former Mill Hill Children’s Centre building and has proudly served this local community for over 20 years.
This is a large site with enhanced facilities including; two newly developed sensory rooms, which offer specialised programmes for children who need extra support and/ or a space to regulate their emotions and behaviour. Families of Growing Places can access these spaces by booking through their nursery manager.
6 months -2 years (Babies) have access to a nurturing and responsive environment, where babies are encouraged to explore, discover and develop at their own pace. Through secure relationships with caring adults, babies are supported to follow their natural curiosity, investigate their surroundings and engage in language rich environments, both indoors and outdoors.
2-3 year olds (Family room) have a spacious room, which reflects the children's current questions, interests and inspire curiosity.
Through play, investigation and meaningful experiences, children are supported to become confident, independent learners.
3-4 year olds (Preschool) have a large, light and airy environment, designed to be flexible and reflects the children.
Learning opportunities emerge from children's interests, fascinations and ongoing investigations, allowing them to explore subjects in greater depth, developing a deeper understanding. These meaningful projects encourage children to think creatively, solve problems, collaborate with others and take ownership of their learning.

The garden spaces include more natural spaces for children to explore nature, and spaces for children to play games. Our babies garden, ‘the wonder garden’, is a space for the babies to explore their senses and the world around them.
Delicious healthy meals are prepared each day by our dedicated cook ensuring that mealtimes play an important role in socialising and communicating.
